• Check-in with your liaison to prepare for your semester in D.C.
• Credit arrangements - internship or course related to major, etc?
• All necessary paperwork completed
• Reach out to your university Financial Aid Office
• Check disbursement dates if using school financial aid
• See if there are any additional funding or scholarships you can apply for
or receive
With The Washington Center
• Submit the pre-arrival Google Form prior to your advising session
• This form can be found in the Welcome email you received from your
Pre-arrival Advisor
• Log into the Pre-arrival Course in Canvas
• Review information related to your advising session
• Check out the Frequently Asked Questions page in Canvas
– Bring any additional questions to your advising session
• Complete required assignments in Canvas so you are able to schedule your
advising session
• Upload your resume into the VMock resume review platform
• Uploading your resume into VMock should be done prior to your
advising session
• Bring additional questions about your feedback to your advisor
