TWC's active recruitment strategy, professionalism and commitment toward student development parallels our goals in providing underrepresented students an opportunity to conduct state-of-the-art research and be mentored by world-renowned researchers with the hopes of encouraging them to pursue advanced STEM degrees. is partnership highlights one of our objectives in providing a strong, diverse future workforce for both the Department of Defense and the Department of the Navy. Federal agencies capitalize on The Washington Center's intern selection expertise to access a pool of diverse, qualified intern candidates from across the country. TWC-screened interns precisely match the specific needs and priorities of that agency, ensuring a successful workforce match. Thanks to an established contract with the General Services Administration, our government partners access selected students from programs like ours that complement the federal Pathways Program with minimal requirements to navigate.
