1 Informational Interview Reports | 30% of grade Informational interviews are excellent networking tools for job seekers. They allow you to gain practical insight into what it takes to be successful in a particular position or profession. They also allow you to build confidence in your ability to interact with professionals in a chosen field. This assignment will give you the chance to practice strategic outreach and connect with like minded professionals that will help you in the future. You will need to identify and interview three individuals to interview and complete an informational interview report for each. You will then upload all three reports onto your ePortfolio. Assignment Deadlines • Informational Interview Report #1: June 26, 2020 • Informational Interview Report #2: July 10, 2020 • Informational Interview Report #3: July 24, 2020 Capstone Reflection | 15% of grade The Capstone Reflection is a chance for you to reflect holistically on your experiences over the semester, what you have learned, and your plans for the future. This culminating reflective assignment requires you to think critically about your internship and how it impacted your career goals, your strengths and areas of improvement, and key insight generated during your TWC experience. You will upload your capstone reflection onto your ePortfolio. Assignment Deadline: July 24, 2020 Professional ePortfolio | 10% of grade To help you document and reflect upon your learning from your experiences during your virtual internship, you will construct a ePortfolio reflecting a wide range of your assignments, activities, and accomplishments. This ePortfolio will be shared with the campus liaison from your college or university, and it could include work you might use in your applications for future jobs or graduate schools. As you complete various tasks, assignments, and projects during the semester plan on uploading them onto your ePortfolio. Think about what each item demonstrates and about how they all fit together to showcase you as a professional and a lifelong learner. Assignment Deadline: July 27, 2020 Discussion Posts | 8% of grade At specific intervals throughout the semester your Career Advisor will pose challenging and thought-provoking questions to you via Schoology. These questions are aimed at helping you think critically about your professional growth and milestones, impressions about your career, important insights, and much more.
