What is a site visit? A meeting between an intern, their site supervisor(s) and a TWC Career Advisor. This meeting creates a space to discuss the intern's performance and share feedback on their professional development at the internship. How will it be scheduled? Your Career Advisor will e-mail your supervisor a Bookafy link. This will allow them to schedule a date and time that works for both of you. You will receive a calendar invite from your career advisor with the date, time and a Zoom link. How will it take place and how long will it be? Your meeting will be a Zoom video conference that will last about 30 minutes. When will the site visit take place? Each Career Advisor's schedule is different but meetings are scheduled between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time between June 22nd and July 16th. Do I need to prepare anything? It's a good idea to keep track of the projects you're working on and come prepared to talk about your accomplishments and goals for the future. Relaxed casual attire is recommended. Will there be a record of this? A short midterm report will be sent to your home university. 1 2 3 4 5 If you have any questions, message your TWC Career Advisor on Schoology.
