Internship
There are thousands of ways to have a career in nonprofit and advocacy work. We've got
connections in the nation's capital and across the country to help you use your career to make
a difference.
Some of our popular internship sites for those interested in nonprofit and advocacy are the
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Rainbow Families, RespectAbility, the Peace
Corps and EarthShare.
Career Readiness Programming
TWC's Career Readiness Programming is a mix of professional development workshops,
networking events, one-on-one advising and more designed to help you maximize your
internship experience. In the past, our students have gone to networking events to meet the big
players in the nonprofit world and opened their minds to career possibilities they didn't know
existed. There are so many options in the nonprofit world and the best way to figure out what
you want is to talk to the professionals working in the field.
