Session Name Description Type Conflict Resolution This session will provide participants with an understanding of various styles and strategies of conflict resolution. Participants will have the opportunity to apply different strategies to a series of case studies while learning best practices for managing conflicts in their own workplaces. Required Managing Up Through this session, participants will gain an understanding of the factors that impact the supervisor/supervisee relationship, insight into their relationship with their supervisor, and an awareness in how they can practice self-advocacy and help manage their supervisor successfully. Required LinkedIn and Online Branding During this session, participants will examine their own online presence and learn the foundational steps of creating their own brand. Participants will receive specific advice to create a more compelling LinkedIn profile and other techniques for maintaining a professional online brand. Elective Option Leveraging Your Strengths The CliftonStrengths assessment is a tool used to help individuals understand their greatest strengths and how to maximize them to their greatest potential. This session will provide participants an opportunity to take the assessment for free and learn about their individual top five strengths. Facilitated by Gallup-Certified Strengths Coaches, this session will focus on how to leverage individual strengths in the workplace. Elective Option AI In the Workplace As the presence of AI becomes more infused into the workplace and our daily lives, participants in this workshop will learn the limitations and restrictions to AI and techniques to effectively and appropriately utilize AI in their own work. Elective Option Working for the Government and Crafting a Federal Resume For participants interested in a career with the federal government, this session will provide insight into the unique qualities of a federal resume, how to search for career opportunities within the federal government, and pro tips to make sure your federal resume makes it to the top of the pile.
