- Individuals' top five strengths - How to leverage CliftonStrengths in the workplace Bringing Your Authentic Self to the Workplace February 7 th 6:30 – 8:00pm Via Zoom This session will provide space for participants to have an honest and open conversation around the following: Can you bring your full self to the workplace? Should you bring you full self to the workplace? Who do you see and don't see bringing their full self to the workplace? Professional Communication February 13 th 12:00 – 12:55pm Via Zoom This session, co-facilitated by our Programs and Employer Relations team, will focus on different aspects of professional communication. Participants will receive information on communication etiquette and have the opportunity to put that knowledge into practice. CliftonStrengths Series, Part II: Strengths in Action February 19 th 6:30 – 8:00pm Pre-requisite: Participants MUST have attended Part I of the Strengths Series or completed the Strengths-Based Approaches to Careers asynchronous session in Canvas in order to participate in this session. This session will explore the ways in which we can best apply our top 5 strengths to our greatest potential both in the workplace and outside. This session will allow participants to: -Explore how you've utilized your strengths for past success -Create a professional summary using strengths as a foundation -Learn how to use strengths when looking at a job description Networking Night #1 February 21 st 6:30 – 8:00pm Join us to hear from TWC Alumni and other incredible professionals working in a variety of organizations and roles throughout DC. Participants will have the opportunity to put their networking skills into practice without having to leave the RAF. Professional Goal Setting February 27 th 12:00 – 12:55pm Via Zoom Join us for this session for advice and tips on how to effectively set and achieve your professional goals. Participants will walk away from this session with set goals and vision for their professional trajectory. Federal Resumes February 28 th 6:30 – 8:00pm Are you interested in a career with the federal government? Having a federal resume is key to breaking in to any government role. Federal resume expert Javier Lopez from Gov Geeks, LLC will lead this session where participants will learn: -the unique qualities of a federal resume -how to search for opportunities within the federal government -pro tips to make sure your federal resume makes it to the top of the pile.
