Career Readiness Workshops - Detailed January Session Name Date & Time EST Description An Introduction to Networking in DC January 24 th 6:30 – 8:00pm This session will focus on how to effectively network in DC including networking ettiquette, how to find networking events, and the purpose of Informational Interviews Time Management & Working in a Hybrid Environment January 30 th 12:00 – 12:55pm Via Zoom Join this session to learn about time management and collaboration in a hybrid environment. Participants will explore what collaborating in a hybrid environment is, what the barriers to collaboration are, and how to overcome those barriers. Additionally, they'll receive tips on how to better manage their time. Questions are encouraged! Resolving Conflict in the Workplace January 31 st 6:30 – 8:00pm During this session, participants will learn about various conflict resolution strategies while having the opportunity to apply them directly to case studies. They'll receive tips for how best to respond to and manage conflicts in their own workplaces. February Session Name Date & Time EST Description CliftonStrengths Series, Part I: An Intro to Understanding CliftonStrengths February 5 th 6:30 – 8:00pm The CliftonStrengths assessment is a tool used to help individuals understand their greatest strengths and how to maximize them to their greatest potential. This session will provide participants an opportunity to take the assessment for free and learn about their individual top five greatest strengths. Facilitated by Gallup Certified Strengths Coaches, this session will cover: - Why CliftonStrengths is an important workplace tool
