Assignment Late Submission Policy Students will be deducted one full letter grade for every day past the submission deadline. After five days, the student may receive a failing grade for the assignment. It is the responsibility of the student to preemptively reach out to their Program Manager if/when they do not think they can meet an assignment deadline. Students must contact their Program Manager no later than 5pm on the Wednesday prior to any assignment deadline. Uploading to Canvas/Portfolium All required written work must be uploaded to the appropriate assignment in Canvas. It is each student's responsibility to ensure that documents are uploaded on time, successfully, and according to the assignment instructions. Attendance Students are required to attend three Development Days throughout the semester. All internship supervisors in TWC's network have already been made aware of these dates: • Development Day #1: Friday, September 20, 2024 • Development Day #2: Friday, October 18, 2024 • Development Day #3: Friday, November 15, 2024 Failure to attend all three required days will result in point deductions from the student's overall grade. In the event that an absence is unavoidable, students should notify their Program Manager. There will be one evening make-up session later in the term for those who miss one of the Friday sessions. If you find that you cannot manage conflicts between the Career Readiness Program schedule and the demands of your internship, please let your Program Manager know. TWC will help facilitate communication with your internship site. Participation Active participation in the career readiness programming you are attending is expected. Participation involves active engagement during sessions. Timely Arrival Out of respect to everyone involved in workshops and other TWC activities, we expect you to arrive to all events at or before the designated start time. Students who arrive late to events more than 10 minutes after the event start time will not receive
