e Washington Center: 2025 Impact Report For 50 years, The Washington Center (TWC) has worked in close partnership with higher education institutions, state and federal government agencies, and employers across industries to provide immersive internships, career-connected skill building, and experiential learning to ensure job-seeking talent is prepared to enter the workforce with the skills employers desire. 2025 was a transformative year for TWC, despite the uncertain environment in Washington, D.C. We celebrated our 50th Anniversary and brought together new and old friends to reflect on our achievements and lay the groundwork for the work ahead. We successfully ran our first "TWC On The Road" program in partnership with UNC Greensboro, with plans to expand to other areas in the U.S. in 2026. With a thriving community of over 70,000 alumni globally, many of whom have taken on influential leadership roles across various sectors, TWC continues to promote economic and social mobility by transforming student potential into lifelong opportunities.
