Month-by-Month Preparation Timeline
Junior Year
September – October
• Research national security agencies and career paths that align with your interests
• Attend career fairs and information sessions
• Begin cleaning up your social media presence
• Start tracking all addresses where you've lived for the past 10 years
November – December
• Apply for summer internships (many deadlines are in November/December)
• Create your first draft of a federal-style resume

January – February
