2018 Programs 20 2018 Annual Report Academic Internship Program The preeminent TWC program attracted 847 students to D.C. across the spring, summer and fall terms. Students represented 171 U.S. colleges and universities and 34 international institutions. Students were matched with internship opportunities that fit their interests and goals, enabling them to transform classroom learning into professional ability. TWC worked with its funding partners to make this program more accessible to students across the country. These investments in our students supported the cost of tuition, housing and even transportation.
