Donors
The following 15 generous donors contributed towards 2019 scholarships:
New Scholarship Funds
In 2019, TWC established two privately funded scholarship funds, the Margery
Magill Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Joseph and Mary Ellen Yenerall
Politics and Public Service TWC Scholarship.
The Margery Magill Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Margery Magill Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in memory
of TWC's dear colleague, Margery Magill and in consultation with her family.
Through this scholarship fund, TWC honors Margery's dedication to international
relations, food security and women's empowerment. Funds raised will support
select students who are majoring in international relations and/or agricultural
economics, and/or women's studies, or who are interning in these areas through
their participation in The Washington Center's program. Since its creation in
2019, TWC has awarded 11 students with this award.

The Joseph and Mary Ellen Yenerall Politics and Public Service
TWC Scholarship
The Joseph and Mary Ellen Yenerall Politics and Public Service TWC Scholarship
will be awarded to select Clarion University students attending TWC's Campaign
Seminar Series. Spearheaded by Dr. Kevan M. Yenerall, a longtime friend and
faculty liaison to TWC, this fund raised $25,000 in support of student awards.

Learn More
TWC enables students and professionals to transform their careers and lives
through a unique experience; colleges and universities to extend their reach,
programmatically and geographically; organizations to connect with a new
generation of talent; and its many donors and alumni to support and shape the
next generation of leaders.
As TWC celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2020, we look forward to providing
deserving students with greater access to transformational internships and
seminars. On February 28, 2020, TWC established the 45th Anniversary Fund
which seeks to support increased scholarship funding for first-generation,
underrepresented and high need college students participating in TWC
programming. To learn more, or to make a donation to this fund, please visit
