9 The Washington Center • Course Guide Professor Bio: Dan currently serves as the Managing Director for Program Development for Cultural Vistas, working with teams to design, develop and implement global experiential learning programs. These efforts have created opportunities for collaboration for American and international students and young professionals in East and Southeast Asia and Europe. He has been an adjunct faculty member for The Washington Center since 1991, and currently serves as the Treasurer and founding member of the Board of Directors of the Global Pathways Project, a nonprofit organization that introduces inner-city Baltimore youth to international events and opportunities. Dan holds a masters degree in geography from the University of Washington in Seattle, and a bachelor's degree in international studies and Asian studies from The American University in Washington, D.C.
