The Board of Trustees of The Washington Center (TWC) recently elected two accomplished alumni to its Board. Isaiah Boswell and Geoff Schaefer will bring their expertise and commitment to fuel the organization's continued growth and success.
The Board also unanimously reelected Dr. Susan C. Pannullo as Chair of the Board. Dr. Pannullo, a Professor of Neurological Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medicine, has served as a TWC Trustee since 2007. This marks her second term as Board Chair.
Isaiah Boswell, a 2014 alumni and recipient of the Samuel G. Rose Scholarship, has over a decade of experience in banking and compliance, currently serving as Vice President in Goldman Sachs' Compliance Division. Boswell is the Southwest regional representative on the TWC Alumni Leadership Council (ALC) and will bring his fiduciary experience and alumni relationships to fuel the Board.
Geoff Schaefer, a 2007 alumni, is a leader in the increasingly critical field of responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI). Schaefer leads Booz Allen's Responsible AI practice and serves as the firm's Chief AI Ethics Advisor. His work in making responsible AI more practical, tangible and useful across a wide range of industries will help fuel TWC’s growth in providing career connections and exploration in digital and emerging technologies. Schaefer is a regular contributor to TWC programming, sharing his insights at events for students and alumni.
Dr. Pannullo expressed her enthusiasm for the new appointments, stating, "We are honored to welcome Isaiah Boswell and Geoff Schaefer to our esteemed Board of Trustees. Their diverse backgrounds and profound commitment to The Washington Center's mission will undoubtedly enhance our strategic direction and contribute to the continued success of our organization."

Isaiah Boswell and Geoff Schaefer become part of a 26-member Board of Trustees, including 2023 additions of Vicki E. Allums, J.D. ‘78, Dr. Connie Book, Dr. Maureen E. Farrell and Morris J. Clarke. The collective expertise, dedication and passion will continue to fuel the future of The Washington Center, and the mission of creating flexible, immersive pathways to enhance the pipeline of diverse talent and build more equitable, inclusive workplaces and communities.
