The Annual Scholarship Dinner honors those alumni, colleges and universities, employer partners, influential advocates and leaders, and generous sponsors that help The Washington Center connect students with promising futures.
Washington, D.C. — The Washington Center (TWC) celebrates the foundational connections we build for students that bridge their college and career experiences at the Annual Scholarship Dinner: ‘Bridging to the Future.’ The National Building Museum once again hosts the event on Monday, October 7, 2019, beginning with a reception at 6:00 p.m. The Annual Scholarship Dinner is TWC’s largest and most important fundraising event.
Net proceeds from the evening support the TWC Scholarship Fund, which helps alleviate financial barriers for students to participate in TWC’s transformative experience. Thanks to TWC scholarship funds, the next members of the workforce acquire and develop the skills and experiences necessary for the evolving 21st century economy. Nearly 85% of TWC students receive some form of financial assistance.
TWC invites you to take part in this special evening honoring our valued partners while impacting the futures of nearly 2,000 college students and young professionals from across the United States and around the world.
Special note of gratitude to our sponsors Ford Motor Company, Southwest Airlines and CBS for making the Bridging to the Future evening a reality.
Paula Reid, White House Correspondent for CBS News, will serve as event emcee.
